The Heilig Geist Chapel is a rare architectural evidence of medieval Berlin. Originally build as a chapel of the hospital “zum Heiligen Geist” the building is now evidence of medieval brick architecture and conveys urban and social historical aspects. Installations necessary for use are integrated in a panel. The fixtures should be recognized as an addition but at the same time not interfere with the impression of this historical room. Indirect lighting in form of a stele is integrated in the panel. The two minimized wheel luminaires include both a direct and an indirect component.
